I'm happy to report that Osaka Heat has taken the Silver Medal for the category "Multicultural Fiction Adult" in the Independent Publisher 2008 Book Awards contest. This award annually recognizes the best independently published books. Have a look at Category 13.

I'm also pleased to tell you that ForeWord Magazine recognized Osaka Heat as a Finalist for the 2007 Book of the Year Award, in Literary Fiction. This award was established to bring increased attention, to librarians and booksellers, of the literary and graphic achievements of independent publishers and their authors.
